What is Personalized Mail
Personalized Mail™ is mailable items that have the primary intention to motivate a person to take action by:
•Promoting a product, service, program, or event
•Soliciting donations or contributions - Including thank-you letters soliciting future donations with a tax receipt from registered charitable organizations, Reporting on financial performance, primarily for promotional purposes
•Supporting your loyalty card program, including all mailings relating to loyalty card programs (excludes credit or debit cards with or without reward points)
What Qualifies as Personalized Mail
To determine if your mail item's primary intent is promotional, you must ask, “What’s the primary message that I want to ask the recipient to respond to when they receive the item”? Your mailing is promotional and may qualify as Personalized Mail™ if the intent is to motivate a person to take action and: Buy or acquire a product or service, use a specific program, or contribute to or support a cause or event.
Unqualified Items with the primary intent to provide businesses and consumers with educational material, and transactional or informational communications.
Minimum Volume & Delivery Standards:
Volume:
• Machinable: 100 items
• Special Handling: 1,000 items
Delivery: (Business days estimate)
• Machinable Major Urban Centres: 3 – 5
• Non-major Urban Centres: 3 – 5 etc…
Undeliverable Mail
Items are treated as undeliverable if:
• The item does not bear a complete and valid address
• The item is addressed to a non-existent address
• The addressee refuses the item
• Delivery is prohibited by law
• The item cannot otherwise be delivered to the address.
